River Road è stata una band country americana formatasi nel 1989. Il gruppo era composto da Tony Ardoin (chitarra, voce), Mike Burch (batteria, voce), Richard Comeaux (steel guitar), Steve Grisaffe (voce principale, basso) e Charles Ventre (tastiere, voce). Nel 1997 hanno firmato con Capitol Records Nashville, pubblicando il loro album di debutto omonimo che ha raggiunto le classifiche country di Billboard con tre singoli, tra cui "Nickajack", arrivato al numero 37. Nel 1998 si sono trasferiti a Virgin Records Nashville, raggiungendo le classifiche con un quarto singolo e registrando un album inedito (Somethin' in the Water). Dopo lo scioglimento nel 2000, Ventre e Grisaffe hanno intrapreso carriere soliste.
