Everyday I think about this love youve given me,
It dont seem real Ive found some peace since you have set me free.
I thought the world was ending,
And all love was just pretending,
You said dont be so condescending
Anythings true if you scream it out loud enough!
I had the wrong impression, a cynical obsession,
I was the cause of my own depression,
Anythings true when you scream it out loud enough!
Now I know without your love why life was such a grind,
I thought seeing the bad in us gave me an open mind.
I spent my time just lookin for trouble,
I was a fool lets not be subtle.
I dont mean to burst your bubble but
Anythings true if you scream it out loud enough!
I fell for the same old story,
Were all checking out in a blaze of glory.
Love offers me so much more but
Anythings true if you scream it out loud enough!
Just look what weve become!
Despite all the gloom love is fun!
When I see you I see, that my glass still looks quite full to me!
Any day when skies are filled with gray it can bring me down.
Ive had my fill of bad it tastes so good when you come around.
Ive made a resolution,
Theres such a thing as thought pollution.
Im the cause, youre my solution
Anythings true when you scream it out loud enough!
Hear my confession, I let my fears become obsession.
I have learned the greatest lesson:
That anythings true when you scream it out loud enough!
Just look what weve become!
Despite all the gloom love is fun!
Because of you I see,
And my glass still looks quite full to me!
Come and see, how some people get lost on the way to love
But you gotta hang tough, gotta push.. gotta push and shove.
All I have to do is think of what youve done for me,
When I had caught a case of self inflicted misery.
Now if my past could see me,
Id tell myself I must be dreaming.
You made my heart believe
That anythings true when you scream it out loud enough!
Thanks to your clear vision,
Love is sweeter than derision,
I have made my own decision
That anythings true when you scream it out loud enough!
Just look what weve become!
In spite of the gloom love is fun!
Because of you I see, and my glass still looks quite full to me!
Come and see - and turn off your tv.
