The Twang es una banda británica de indie rock originaria de Birmingham, Inglaterra, formada en 2004. Compuesta por Phil Etheridge (voz, guitarra), Jonny Brown (guitarra), Ross 'Razz' McKenzie (bajo) y Mark 'Mucky' Jones (batería), el grupo alcanzó la popularidad con su álbum debut autotitulado "The Twang" en 2007. El álbum, producido por Steve Osborne, vendió más de 100.000 copias en el Reino Unido y generó éxitos como "Two Wrongs Make a Right", "Sick of It" y "I Don't Wanna Be Your Friend". Su música se caracteriza por riffs de guitarra energéticos, melodías pegadizas y letras directas que exploran temas de amor, amistad y vida cotidiana. Tras el éxito de su álbum debut, The Twang lanzó dos álbumes más, "Love It When You're Gone" (2009) y "The Shadow of the Sun" (2013), antes de disolverse en 2014.
