Judith Marjorie Collins, conocida simplemente como Judy Collins, es una cantautora y actriz estadounidense nacida en Seattle, Washington, en 1939. Considerada una de las figuras más influyentes de la música folk americana, ha ganado fama internacional por su poderosa y versátil voz soprano, capaz de abarcar desde el canto melódico hasta el rock progresivo. Su carrera, que comenzó en la década de 1960, se caracteriza por una amplia discografía que incluye más de 30 álbumes de estudio. Collins se destacó por su interpretación de canciones folk tradicionales, como «Blowin' in the Wind» de Bob Dylan, y por sus composiciones originales, incluyendo «Both Sides Now», que se ha convertido en un clásico atemporal.
