Heather Small es una cantautora británica nacida en Londres en 1969. Conocida principalmente como la vocalista principal del grupo M People, formación musical originaria de Manchester activa entre las décadas de 1990 y 2000, Heather Small alcanzó fama internacional con éxitos de soul-pop como "Moving on Up", "Searchin'" y "One Night in Heaven".
