Coolio, cuyo nombre real era Artis Leon Ivey Jr., fue un rapero y actor estadounidense activo desde 1987 hasta 2023. Conocido por su estilo de rap caracterizado por letras socialmente conscientes y ritmos funk, Coolio alcanzó la fama mundial en 1995 con el sencillo "Gangsta's Paradise", extraído del álbum "It Takes a Thief".
