Tommy Walter (nato il 30 ottobre 1970 a Pasadena, California) è un musicista e cantautore statunitense, noto soprattutto per la sua band alternative rock Abandoned Pools, nonché ex bassista e uno dei membri fondatori degli Eels. Walter ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 con gli Eels, contribuendo alla loro sonorità caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Dopo aver lasciato il gruppo nel 2001, Walter si è dedicato al progetto Abandoned Pools, che ha visto la luce con l'album di debutto omonimo nel 2003. La musica degli Abandoned Pools presenta influenze indie rock e post-rock, caratterizzata da atmosfere malinconiche e testi introspettivi. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo 'The Sun', 'The Light', 'The Rain' e 'The Moon'.
