Laura Ann Branigan (1952-2004) è stata una cantautrice e musicista statunitense, nota per la sua potente voce e il suo stile pop rock degli anni '80. Nata a New York, ha iniziato la sua carriera come cantante di jazz nei locali della città. Nel 1982 ha firmato un contratto con la Atlantic Records e ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto, "Branigan", che includeva il singolo di successo "Gloria".
