Albert Johnson, mejor conocido como Prodigy, fue un rapero estadounidense y miembro fundador del dúo de hip hop Mobb Deep. Nacido en Queens, Nueva York, en 1977, Prodigy comenzó su carrera musical a la edad de 12 años. En 1993, junto con su amigo de infancia Havoc, formó Mobb Deep, con quien lanzó algunos de los discos más influyentes de la historia del hip hop underground. Su álbum debut, *Juvenile Hell*, fue un éxito tanto crítico como comercial, seguido por otros álbumes como *The Infamous* (1995) y *H.N.I.C.* (2000).
