Martyr A.D. è stata una band metalcore formatasi nel 2000 da ex membri delle band Disembodied e Holding On. Il gruppo era composto da Andy Hart al voce, Charlie Johnson e Joel Johnson alla chitarra, Tara Anderson al basso e Karl Hensel alla batteria. La band ha pubblicato tre album in studio: "The Serpent's Tongue" (2003), "A New Reign" (2005) e "The Last Stand" (2007). Il loro stile musicale era caratterizzato da sonorità aggressive, influenzate dal death metal e dal hardcore punk. Martyr A.D. ha condiviso il palco con band come Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall e All Shall Perish.
