Scott Richard Weiland (nacido como Scott Richard Kline, 27 de octubre de 1967 – 3 de diciembre de 2015) fue un cantautor y músico estadounidense. Conocido por su potente y distintivo estilo vocal, Weiland alcanzó la fama internacional como el cantante principal de Stone Temple Pilots, una banda de rock activa desde 1989 hasta 2013. Con los STP, ganó dos premios Grammy y ayudó a definir el sonido del hard rock de los años 90 con álbumes exitosos como *Core* (1992) y *Purple* (1994). En 2002, después de la ruptura de Stone Temple Pilots, Weiland formó el supergrupo Velvet Revolver con miembros ex Guns N' Roses. Con Velvet Revolver, lanzó su álbum debut *Contraband* (2004), que llegó al número uno en las listas estadounidenses. Después de un período de pausa y varios proyectos en solitario, Weiland fundó Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts en 2013, lanzando el álbum *Blaster* en 2015.
